The Quarry Venue in Knoxville, Tennessee: The Details (+ Why It’s So Damn Good)
The Quarry Venue hits different. It’s a super-modern, ultra-unique wedding venue that sits in a historic marble quarry in the heart of Knoxville, so if you wanted a Knoxville wedding venue that’s, like, hella cool… You found her.
Aside from being DOPE AS HELL, The Quarry Venue also flows realllly naturally on a wedding day. It’s that kinda place where you walk in and KNOW they’ve really thought about everything, so all you have to do is wake up, get glammed, kiss a little, and end the night with your 5th spicy marg in your hand. If you’re anything like me, that sounds like a damn good day!!
Here’s the main stuff to know about the venue so that you can spend less time doing 5,849 Google searches and more time thinking about all the hella cool design you’re gonna create here:
Max guest capacity: 300, so the dance floor will be packed, but you’ll also get to talk to your people
Indoor and outdoor options: Yep, and we’ll get into them all, but know that they’re INSANE
On-site accommodations: Not here, but they do have getting-ready suites!!

Why My Couples Freakin’ LOVE The Quarry Venue (And Who Should 100% Get Married Here)
Okay, one very important thing to know about me is that I LOVE all things funky, nontraditional, silly, and a ‘lil unique!! And if you’re like that, too, you’re in the right place. The Quarry Venue is pretty much perfect for that kinda gal, because it can hold SOOO many different wedding styles.
Whether you want a modern, industrial wedding, a colorful, bold wedding, or a full-on disco-cowgirl-70s-style wedding… You can do it here. And that’s one of the things my couple AND I love about it the most!!
Other than the fact that she’s: A. super cool, and B. has HELLA range, my couples also just love how randomly easy it feels to plan weddings at The Quarry Venue. This is a team that’s literally thought of EVERYTHINGGG, so your job?? Show up, look hot, get married. EASYYY.
If you’re the type of couple who wants:
- A wow factor without feeling stuffy

The Cool AF Venue Spaces at The Quarry Venue
As though I couldn’t love The Quarry Venue more… Every single space in here is INCREDIBLEEE. No matter where you hold your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, it’s gonna make guests think, “OMFG, this is insane???” And I love that.
Let’s get into every spot you can use to host your wedding:
The Canyon
She’s the main character. The show-stopper. The wow factor.
If you can’t tell, we LOVE The Canyon!!
This is where you can get married in front of the marble quarry, and trust me, babes, it’s as cool as it sounds!!! You get the good views, the luxury, and the feeling of no one else around for MILESSS all at once, and it’s something SO special.
The best part?? You can have literally every part of your day out here if you want!! As soon as you smooch and make things official, your guests can head to the patio for a drink (or two, or three…) OR you can flip the space to make it your outdoor reception area. LOVEEE the versatility!!
This is the space that can hold 300 guests, and even if it rains, they throw up a tent for you if you wanna keep things outside. We love a venue with a plan!!

The Terrazo
The Terrazo kinda has European destination vibes with exposed stone, wood beams, and a classy (but also super laidback) energy, so if you love the idea of a destination wedding but hate the idea of TSA agents yelling at you, you’re in luck!!!
This spot can hold up to 190 guests and makes a STUNNINGGG spot for a ceremony or a reception. I always picture this one for weddings that are a little more luxe and feel REALLY personal. Think live bands, candlelit family-style tables, and a whole lotta wine. Slay.
The Carrara
If you’re more of a fan of having your 300-person ceremony outside, then moving inside for your reception, you already KNOWWW they’ve gotchu covered. The Carrara is their indoor space that’s the PERFECT modern industrial style, plus you get views of the waterfall. Like… Could this place BE any better??!
This one also has a patio, so a really nice flow is a ceremony in the Canyon, a cocktail hour on the Carrara patio, then an indoor reception inside the Carrara. Works every time!!

All the INCREDIBLE Photo Ops at The Quarry Venue
Taking pictures at The Quarry Venue is like a field day for me as a Knoxville wedding photographer. These spaces? Basically a must:
- The Canyon Wall – the PERFECT backdrop for moody solo or couples shots, and for wedding party + family photos!!
- The waterfall ridge – I mean, it’s an uninterrupted view of a waterfall… Need I say more??
- The cavern – Tennessee brings some dope AF natural rock formations, so the least we can do is get some romantic couples’ shots in them!!
- On the rocks – sharp edges and neutral colors ALWAYS get a yes from me. Couples portraits go CRAZY here.
- The fields – ethereal woodland fairy vibesss!!
- The cliffs – dramatic solo shots here are a MUST.
Before you start thinking I’m about to drag you around this property for 74 actual hours, though… Absolutely not. One of the reasons I love photographing weddings here is that we can get SO much variety without your wedding day becoming a photoshoot. We’ll make space for the editorial shit, get creative, and then I’ll happily send you back to your people while I document everything else going down.

More Questions You Probably Have About a Quarry Wedding
If you’re a type A girlie, I gotchu!! I know your mind is probably RACING with questions about wedding planning here. As a Knoxville wedding photographer who’s seen sooo many weddings here, though, I have allll the answers you need, babes.
Where is The Quarry Venue Located?
The address for The Quarry Venue is 2320 Keller Bend Road, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37922. It’s literally RIGHT in Knoxville, which means your guests coming from out of town will have so much to do while they’re in for your big day!!
Are There Hotels Near The Quarry Venue for Guests?
The Quarry Venue feels like you’re far away from the whole entire world, when in reality it’s literally a 20-ish minute drive from Downtown Knoxville. That means hotels are basically everywhere around you, so you’ll get a ton of options for where you have your guests stay.

How Much Does it Cost to Rent The Quarry Venue for a Wedding?
Costs for weddings vary SOOO much and can change depending on season, guest count, packages, etc. The best thing you can do to get accurate information (and not old numbers from an outdated blog post) is to reach out to The Quarry Venue directly!!
Does The Quarry Venue Offer In-House Event Planning Services?
The Quarry has on-site staff, but depending on what their current packages include, you may still want your own planner or coordinator whose whole job is keeping YOUR day moving so you don’t have to think about logistics while you’re trying to, ya know, GET MARRIED.
What Happens if it Rains at The Quarry Venue?
If you’re worried about the chaos that is Knoxville weather… I feel you. Take it from me (and from Johanna and Dustin), though: rain can’t stop us!!!
The Quarry Venue can absolutely move everything inside and work just as beautifully, or we can pop up a clear tent and embrace the damn rain. My personal fave is the second option, but just know that as your Knoxville wedding photographer, I know how to work around rain to still get the pics of your dreams!!
My best tip? Embrace it, babes. Rain can be GORGGG, and if you don’t let it get you down, you’ll enjoy your day just as much (if not more).

Johanna + Dustin’s GORG AF Fall Knoxville Wedding Day at The Quarry Venue
Johanna and Dustin had SUCH an incredible day at The Quarry Venue, and it’s basically my whole inspo moodboard for weddings here.
They had the most gorgeous fall color palette for their September wedding. I mean, these flowers live RENT-FREE in my brain, and Dustin’s burgundy suit has my heart!!
Johanna and Dustin did a private first look and a gift exchange before the ceremony (the gift being a boudoir photoshoot she did with me!!), and it was SO romantic. It rained, which somehow made the day even MORE beautiful, so they had their ceremony in the Canyon underneath the clear tent (which let SO much light in!!) and then had their reception in The Carrara. And I have to say: the flow?? FUCKING IMMACULATE.
Their wedding was sweet AF, but the reception was the party of a LIFETIMEEE. A choreographed first dance, fathead cutouts of their cats for the dance floor, and a bubble exit??? I was obsessed!!!
